*SMITH & WESSON 38 DOUBLE ACTION PERFECTED MODEL. Cal. 38 S&W. Blued finish, 4” bbl, integral front sight, 2-pc medallion pearl grips. This model has the usual bbl latch for tip down feature as well as the new thumb latch, both of which must be depressed in order to open the revolver for loading or unloading. Stamped below the serial number, on the butt is an additional number “814”. SN 38391. CONDITION: Very fine. Retains about 95% blue on the frame and bbl, with thinning and flaking on the left side of the frame and sideplate. Cylinder is flaked to about 60%. Grips are very fine with two tiny chips on the left side and a hairline on the right side. Bore is bright and shiny, mechanics are sound.
