CLASSICAL REVIVAL MAHOGANY FIVE TUBE TALL CASE CLOCK. Circa 1922, probably Waltham, Massachusetts. Retailed by Paine furniture company of Boston, Massachusetts. This fine example attributed to Waltham with five tube movement #52 (plate 1012), and moon phase dial #1 (plate 1013), as illustrated in “Long Case Clocks and Standing Regulators part 1″ by Tran Duy Ly, pages 438-439. The bonnet with stepped and molded cornice centering a grape cluster above the arched door flanked by engaged colonnettes, above the conforming case with panel door and with notched corners. Joined to the molded box base, raised on bracket feet. The eight day brass movement run by three weights . Clock offered with original winder, five tubes, three weights, and pendulum.
