NEW ENGLAND WILLIAM & MARY TAP TABLE, PROBABLY MASSACHUSETTS. Third quarter 18th century. The oval single-board pine top joined to the rectangular apron fitted with single drawer, raised on block- and baluster-turned legs joined by a rectangular box stretcher. SIZE: 25″ h. x 35″ l. x 29″ w. CONDITION: Very good original structural condition. Top is in original holes to base with original pegs. Top with good old patina. Original red and brown painted surfaces removed. True finish outlines remain around base in line with top. Drawer and knob original. Feet original.
