MID-ATLANTIC SHERATON CARVED MAHOGANY CRIB. First half 19th century, probably Baltimore. Each ring-turned swelled cylindrical post headed by an acorn finial joined to the four spindled sides. SIZE: 53-1/2″ h x 32″ w overall x 52″ l overall. Interior: 49″ x 29″. PROVENANCE: By descent through the family of the original owners. CONDITION: Crib retains original surfaces, in need of repolishing. Retains original bolt covers. In need of minor cosmetic restoration, otherwise very good. 9-20783 (100-200)
