THREE SCRIMSHAW TEETH OF PRESIDENTIAL FIGURES. 20th century, American. The first with a portrait of William H. Harrison, Lady Liberty on reverse within a border of stars. The second a portrait of James Monroe wrapped in an American flag. The reverse scrimmed with an American eagle above a shield with a clutch of arrows. The third and largest a portrait of John Adams. The reverse scrimmed with a brace of American flags cradling a drum on which is perched an eagle. SIZE: Ranges from 3-3/4″ l to 5″ l. PROVENANCE: From a private Utah collection. CONDITION: All very good with nicely polished surfaces and natural fissures and shrinkage cracks. 9-90371 (800-1,200)
