PHENOMENAL SALESMAN SAMPLE ROAD GRADER. As salesman samples go, this is perhaps one of the most elaborate and breathtaking pieces ever made. The detail and craftsmanship are unmatched. Created by the Stockland Road Machinery Company of Minneapolis, Minnesota, it represents the Stockland 80 (AKA “The Giant”). Constructed of brass, cast aluminum, wood, and steel, it has a vast array of working levers and gears allowing for a full range of movement of the plow blade and other components. The operator would stand on the wood slat platform at the rear, turning the leaning wheels and levers for a perfectly graded road. Truly a museum quality piece. SIZE: 33″ l x 15″ w x 11-1/2″ h.
