TWO SWORDFISH BILL SWORDS. 1) Wood handle inlaid with potted flower, heart, diamonds, and dots and crescent moon. One side having clubs, hearts, diamonds, and spades surrounding the initials “WJ”. Pommel leading to a finial with four protruding mask heads. 2) Inlaid wood with hearts, leaves, intersecting diamonds. Nicely carved and scrolled guard, curved pommel ending in a heart end and a carved finial. SIZE: 1) Total: 41″ l. Swordfish bill: 30″ l. 2) Total: 33-1/2″ l. Swordfish bill: 33-1/2″ l. CONDITION: 1) One small leaf tip and line inlay missing, missing end of guard of hilt. 2) Some losses to inlay and vertical crack, alligatored varnish finish, good. 7-70350, 7-70351 (800-1,200)
