TWO CHESTNUT BOTTLES. 1) Squat dark amber chestnut bottle with broken pontil. 2) Portrait flask with George Washington beneath the phrase “THE FATHER OF HIS COUNTRY”, the reverse, of General Zachary Taylor beneath quote “I HAVE ENDEAVORED TO DO MY DUTY”. Flask light aqua with broken pontil. SIZE: 1) 4-7/8″ h. 2) 8″ h. CONDITION: 1) Very good with minor and minimal abrasion to bottom. 2) Very good with slight foxing around area of base and with normal abrasion to bottom. 9-24448, 9-24449 (400-600)
