PENNSYLVANIA KENTUCKY RIFLE HENRY DECHLER, Philadelphia. 2nd Quarter 19th Century. Early percussion cap fowling gun, the barrel inscribed “Henry Dechler Inn Philadelphia”. Also engraved on the lockplate are birds and again his name. Mounted with a nicely figured maple stock. PROVENANCE: From a fine coastal Maine estate. CONDITION: There is a crack in the stock near the triggerguard. Comes complete with a ramrod and powderhorn. Finish is dry. 9-94611 (2,000-4,000)
