TWO PRESENTATION HALF SHIP MODELS. First half 20th century, New York City. The largest, a fully rigged schooner named “May Be / N.Y.”, carved mahogany with wooden sails mounted on a mahogany board with rope twist border. The smaller, a sloop named “Aloha”, carved mahogany with wooden sails, the main sail painted “N.Y. / C.” mounted on a mahogany board with rope twist border. SIZE: Larger 22″ h x 17-1/4″ w. Smaller 19″ h x 13″ w. CONDITION: The models structurally intact with original surfaces. Some of the rigging in need of cosmetic and structural repair. The pennant on the schooner with paint loss.
