ORIENTAL EXPORT NEEDLEWORK AND CARVED PLAQUE. 1) Framed needlework showing a spread wing eagle holding a U.S. flag over six crossed flags with American shield. Titled “In Memory of my cruise in Philippines-China-Siberia”. The needlework with a gray silk background. Framed with the inclusion of a matted modern description. Housed in a modern black frame with glass. 2) Carved wood plaque in shaped stylized shield with spread wing eagle over oriental calligraphy character having crossed banners, bow tie & flowers. On reverse is a carved oriental calligraphy character. SIZE: 1) Sight: 26″ x 20-1/2″. 2) 19-1/2″ x 15″. PROVENANCE: From a coastal New Jersey home.
