This beautifully restored example of highly figured rosewood with geometric brass string inlays, brass bound overall and fitted with inset carrying handles. The hinged lid opening to a baise-lined writing surface, also fitted with compartments for inkwell, and with pen tray SIZE: h. 8″ x l. 20″ d. 10-1/3″ CONDITION: Very fine restored condition. 9-99591 (1,400-1,800)
