The barometer with swan’s neck molded pediment above the rectangular brass register, inscribed “Adie & Son./EDINBURGH” above the molded throat inset with a glass tube. The base with half spherical cover. SIZE: 48-3/4″ h. PROVENANCE: By descent through the Walter Rothschild family of New York. CONDITION: Overall very good with repair to pediment, finial absent.
