NEW ENGLAND FEDERAL INLAID MAHOGANY AND TIGER MAPLE CHEST OF DRAWERS. Early 19th century. The rectangular mahogany top with bowfront above the conforming case fitted with four long graduated drawers each with mahogany crossbanding, cockbeaded edges and tiger maple panels with string inlaid border with inlaid with shield escutcheons, raised on flaring French feet. SIZE: 33-1/2″ h x 41-1/2″ l x 23″ d. CONDITION: Professionally repolished, feet and backboards original. Antique, if not original, brasses.
