CASED DENTISTRY TOOL KIT. 19th/20th Century. The walnut case signed “A. Louer a Paris” also having an owner’s inset silver plaque “Dr. D. B. St. John Roosa”. The case fitted and includes thirty-two dental instruments with bone handles marked with various makers including Weiss, Krohne & Co., Luer, G. Tiemann & Co., and others. The kit used for office or traveling. SIZE: Instruments range: 4-1/2″ to 5-1/2″. PROVENANCE: Estate of Ellen Brown of Tuxedo Park, New York. CONDITION: Interior wood separation fittings are broken but present, some yellowing to bone & light rust to metal. Case otherwise in very good condition. 9-23738 (1,000-2,000)
