PAIRPOINT BUTTERFLY TABLE LAMP. Obverse and reverse painted lamp depicts a meadow scene with trees, flowers and many butterflies that surrounds shade. It is highly unusual as most of the decoration is obverse painted, a technique Pairpoint seldom executed. The shade is supported by a two socket copper finish Egyptian form base with stepped design. Shade is signed on the interior rim “The Pairpoint Corp”. Base is signed on underside “Pairpoint” with a “P” in a diamond and “D2067”. SIZE: Shade is 15″ dia. Overall 21″ t. CONDITION: Shade is very good to excellent. Base is good, has a replaced socket, pull chain and some light wear to finish. 5-60137 (1,800-2,200)
