VALERIE SURJAN ART DECO LUMINAIRE. Outstanding art deco style luminaire features a clear and frosted glass screen with enameled pink flowers. Clear section of the screen is a nude woman holding out her nylon preparing to dress. The screen is complete with original black luminaire lighted base. Along with the screen is a smoked glass upholstered chair which sits separately beside the screen giving a wonderful three dimensional effect. Screen is signed “Valerie Surjan 1987” and the chair is signed “Surjan 1987”. SIZE: 13-1/4″ t. PROVENANCE: From the Collection of Dr. & Mrs. Ivan Cohen.
