COLT MILITARY INSPECTOR MARKED 61 NAVY REVOLVER. Cal. 36 Perc. SN 5280. Blued finish, 7-1/2” rnd bbl, German silver blade front sight, faint cylinder scene, brass triggerguard & backstrap, 1-pc smooth walnut grips, all matching except the wedge which is unnumbered. CONDITION: Good. Gray patina overall mixed with light pitting except around wedge where right side of bbl is slightly battered. Traces of orig blue in protected places on bbl. Inspector initials are visible at the rear of bbl and on cyl, but no U.S. marking or cartouche. Grips show heavy wear at bottom edge & some battering at base. Bore is lightly pitted.
