MAX STANDLEY (AMERICAN, 20TH CENTURY) “HIDDEN WATCHER”. Oil on Masonite realistic scene shows a small rabbit peering out from behind ferns and ivy. Colorful ferns, leaves and grasses elseware. Signed lower left, “M. STANDLEY”. Retaining an original label on reverse with title and date of 1981. Housed in a stained oak frame. Standley is known for his realism and had a one-man show at the R.
