FUTURISTIC KING JET FRICTION RACER IN O.B. By T.K.K., Japan. A rare and wonderful space age rocket race car has front streamlined design similar to concept vehicles of the era. All tin driver under plastic bubble. Finned tail section shows windows to view sparking rocket engines. This exact toy is pictured in Boogart Robot Book. The only example this writer has seen in 30 years. A desirable early 50’s #8 race car with a great look! SIZE: 12″ l. PROVENANCE: From 1989 Davidson Collection Auction. CONDITION: Overall very good to excellent with a couple of factory touch-ups. The original box is very good with some corner repairs, cover images are intact. 1-8513 WP (1,200-1,800)
