FULL BODY COPPER RUNNING HORSE WEATHERVANE, A.L. JEWELL. Last quarter 19th century, Waltham, Massachusetts. The copper horse with cast zinc head and feathered sheet copper tail and sheet copper ears. Now offered on a museum stand. SIZE: 15-1/2″ h x 27-1/4″. CONDITION: With great mottled green surfaces. Old patch repair on proper right hind leg. Normal and expected wear to zinc head and with old lead repair to tail at juncture of body. Otherwise very good. 9-28188 (2,500-3,500)
