NEW ENGLAND FEDERAL MAHOGANY & CURLY MAPLE INLAID SIDEBOARD. Late 18th/early 19th century. The rectangular top with shaped front above the conforming case fitted with a central door above a pair of paneled doors flanked by serpentine short drawers above conforming panel doors, all with cockbeaded edges and with replaced brass eagle hardware raised on six tapered square legs, the four frontal legs inlaid with figured maple panels beneath ribbon-tied belleflowers. SIZE: 41″ h x 67″ l x 27″ d. CONDITION: Professionally repolished. Each rear leg with old reinforcing steel plate inset in back of leg. Top professionally reset.
