GUS WILSON DECOY OF A RAIL. Gus Wilson carved in the first half of the 20th century. This nicely carved thin example with gray/blue plumage and white underside with extended neck and accentuated wing tips. SIZE: 13″ l overall. CONDITION: Proper right wing tip absent. Painted surfaces nicely but extensively worn. Body with nice patina and slight damage from buckshot. Damage to tip of beak. Overall good. 9-22716 (800-1,200)
