FEDERAL INLAID MAHOGANY DEMILUNE CARD TABLE. Circa 1800. Mid-Atlantic states, probably Baltimore. The hinged demilune top with diagonal striped string edges inlaid above the conforming frieze raised on four square tapering legs, each headed by an oval patera with urn inlay. SIZE: 29″h. x 36″w. 17-1/2″ d. PROVENANCE: The card table retains an old label of Mrs. Charles M. Stines, Benton and Jefferson. Cape May, New Jersey. A second label from Wilmington De.
