RARE DISTRIBUTOR’S CASE FOR REMINGTON ELLIOT SINGLE SHOT DERRINGER. Fine mahogany casing 6-7/8″ long x 4-1/2″ wide x 2-3/16″ deep with brass reinforced corners and brass hinges with a delicate brass swinging latch on front. Interior is green velvet lined with removable tray that is recessed for the derringer. There are two compartments in the bottom, one of which contains a twisted wire handled bristle cleaning brush. This appears to be a distributor’s case, not something from Remington. CONDITION: Fine. Case is sound with light handling & storage nicks & scratches and shows heavy wear around bottom edges. Interior is moderately soiled in the tray with light to moderate wear. Bottom compartments are also lightly soiled. 4-40984 JR343 (500-1,500)
