ETCHED & DECORATED GLASS HALF DOME. Wonderful glass half dome has acid cutback decoration on the interior of mythical and whimsical figures including an elephant, mermaid, dinosaur, lizard, snake and impala. The scenes are done in maroon glass cut to clear frosted. The pattern shows through the clear exterior of the half dome which is then engraved and acid cut with a whimsical man in the moon, stars and a stylized sun at the top. Artist signed on the exterior. Signature is illegible by may read “Mia 90”. SIZE: 20-1/4″ w x 11-3/4″ t. PROVENANCE: From the Collection of Dr. & Mrs. Ivan Cohen. CONDITION: Very good to excellent. 5-62927 (1,000-2,000)
