MALE FRENCH FASHION DOLL. Glass eyed shoulder head French Fashion beautifully and elaborately dressed to represent a late-18th Century gentleman or military figure. Clothing is all sewn to the body which by touch appears to be a solid hard carton with knee-high black leather boots, wooden hands; the right holding a baton. He has white flax hair pulled into a long braid in the back and is covered by a cardboard pill box hat with red and blue ribbon. The left knee is purposely bent so that the left leg stretches slightly back and outward. SIZE: 13-1/2″ (34cm). CONDITION: Very good to excellent. 1-8370 RS (2,500-3,500)
