8 PC TIFFANY STUDIOS VENETIAN DESK SET. This desk set has an ornate pattern in relief depicting bands of ermine at the base of each piece. This pattern has been around since the 16th Century when it was used by Venetian craftsmen in their tooled leather designs. Tiffany Studios produced this design at the turn of the 20th Century in bronze which gives this desk set a rich feeling and an east Indian flare. The pieces included in this set are a paper rack, double inkwell, note pad holder, paper clip, rocker blotter, pen tray, pen wipe and stamp box. Each piece is properly signed “Tiffany Studios New York” and numbered, with the exception of the double inkwell. SIZE: Ranges from 2-1/4″ w to 10″ w. CONDITION: Very good to excellent. The entire set has been replated and the double inkwell is missing its bottom plate and two glass inserts. 5-61511 (2,500-4,500)
