BOSTON FEDERAL INLAID SATINWOOD AND MAHOGANY CARD TABLE. Circa 1800. The hinged top with half serpentine sides and elliptic front, the edges with unusual arrow stringing above the conforming frieze with satinwood panels within mahogany crossbanding and arrow stringing raised on square tapered legs with satinwood panels, string inlaid edges, and crossbanded borders with figural mahogany cuffs terminating in slender feet. SIZE: 29-1/2″ h x 36″ w 17-1/2″ d. CONDITION: Table retains old surfaces, front legs with old stress cracks at juncture to apron which have been reset and repolished. Normal and expected wear and abrasions. Otherwise very good with mellow patina. 9-29635 (4,000-6,000)
