FINE REGENCY FIGURED MAHOGANY TALL CASE REGULATOR CLOCK. First quarter 19th century. The bonnet with arched molded cornice surmounted by an incurved pediment with brass ball finial, the door with circular glass panel opening to the conforming silvered dial with Roman numeral chapter ring within a seconds ring, centering in script “Thos. De Lasalle London” above time-and-strike apertures, having a sweep seconds dial above and a calendar dial below. With fine brass works. The waisted case with astragal-arched figured mahogany molded door, flanked by engaged fluted quarter-columns with brass capitals, bases, and stop-fluting, joined to the cove-molded box base on a plinth with molded platform feet.
