Fabulous oil on masonite western mountain scene shows a cowboy atop a brown horse leading two pack horses up a steep mountain covered in snow. The background is a snow covered tall peaked mountain. Signed lower right. Titled, dated “2000” and signed on reverse. Housed in a fine modern partial gilt molded wood frame. Back having a label from the Legacy Gallery, Scottsdale-Jackson Hole. Born and living in Cody, Wyoming, George Smith is known for his western wilderness scenes, reflecting his love of the mountains and their inhabitants. SIZE: 20″ x 10″.
