The rectangular top with molded edge, notched corners, and inset leather tooled writing surface, above the conforming case, fitted with a long upper drawer above two banks of three short drawers centering a knee-hole fitted with a tombstone arched door opening to shelves beneath a single drawer with arched apron, the whole raised on shaped bracket feet. The rear of the bureau unfinished. SIZE: 29-1/2″ h x 27-1/2″ overall w x 17″ d. CONDITION: Professionally restored and repolished, the brass hardware of the period. 9-98775 (2,000-3,000)
