TIFFANY STUDIOS ADAM DESK LAMP. Lamp begins with an eight sided shade having spectacular glass in peacock feather blue, purple and green. The shade is overlaid with a bronze Adam design which shows exquisite workmanship and delicacy to detail. The shade is supported by a matching Adam pattern base that has a vertically ribbed stem, acanthus leaves and garland. The base is finished with two sockets, riser, wheel and pierced top cap. The entire lamp has a bright gold finish. This lamp may be further referenced in an original 1920 list from Tiffany Studios shown on page 97, plate 127 of the book Louis C. Tiffany’s Glass-Bronzes-Lamps by Robert Koch. Shade is signed “Tiffany Studios New York 1412”. Base is signed “Tiffany Studios New York 539”. SIZE: Shade is 12″ dia. Lamp is 18″ t.
