SNUFF BOX. Machine press-wood relief carved image of Uncle Sam offering snuff to John Bull. All birch bark, including hinges. “Tag En Pris” on the top. “Tack godt snus” across the bottom. Grapes, vines and leaves are carved around the sides. C 1876. SIZE: 2 3/4″ x 1 1/4″ x 7/8″. CONDITION: Very good, minor scratches on extreme outer edge of lid. 1-27362 (500-700)
