18″ CYLINDER SWISS MUSIC BOX WITH BELLS. Walnut case with ebony, walnut and burl on top and front with inlaid border. Music box has large 18″ cylinder that plays 8 tunes and plays 6 bells with butterfly strikers. Drum and castanets. SIZE: 11″ t x 30″ w x 13-1/2″ d. CONDITION: Case is solid, needing only slight inlay work and possible refinishing. Inside the music box is in restored condition. Works have been restored by Charles Wilson of Louisville, Kentucky. Cylinder has been re-pinned and polished. All teeth and tips are in good condition. Bells and strikers are in fine condition, as is percussion. Bells are held in place with little birds.
