FIVE ITALIAN SILVER & ENAMELED COMPACTS. Nice lot of compacts in varying shapes have beautiful enamel decoration of daily life. Each enamel scene is surrounded by richly engraved 800 silver and the engraving extends to the bottom of each compact. Each compact is marked “800” and two of the compacts are further enhanced with a gold wash. SIZE: Ranges from 3-1/8″ to 3-3/4″ w. PROVENANCE: From the Estate of Geraldine Gaba, Scottsdale, AZ.
