RARE MINIATURE ONE DRAWER BLANKET CHEST. Mid 18th century, New England. The rectangular lid with molded edges with original snipe hinges with molded edge above the conforming case, the sides continuing to shaped boot jack ends, the whole fitted with a single thumb-molded drawer with original turned knob. All in early Windsor green paint over original red. SIZE: 19″ h x 23″ w x 13-3/4″ d. CONDITION: Good old crusty finish over original red. Hinges moved, but original. Mushroom knob original, as is backboard. 9-27799 (2,600-3,200)
