FEDERAL GILTWOOD CONVEX MIRROR. First half 19th century. With displayed eagle crest and twin scroll-form candle arms, the circular convex mirrorplate within an ebony slip and molded surround mounted with spherules, the eagle crest flanked by scrolling leaftips, with a conforming foliate pendant. SIZE: 32″ h. x 21″ w. CONDITION: Mirror appears all original, with small repairs and losses to leaftips. Backboard old, probably original. 9-94096 (3,000-4,000)
