SMALL GRAPHIC PAINT DECORATED CHECKERBOARD. Mid 19th century, American. This rare game board with faux burl squares, alternating with silver gilt squares. Within a gold gilt boarder, the corners accentuated with oval leaf design, with black pinstripe borders. The reverse with faux wood graining overall. SIZE: 11-1/2″ x 11-3/4″. CONDITION: Very good untouched surfaces, with minor and appropriate wear from age and usage. 9-27778 (800-1,200)
