This nice example of scrimshaw depicting three quarter profile bust of “Lady Liberty” shown with seal of United States beneath banner inscribed “LIBERTY”. She has a laurel wreath on her head. SIZE: 5-1/2″ h. PROVENANCE: From a fine New Jersey home. CONDITION: Very good, colored surfaces remain vibrant, tooth with good patina and color. 9-24650 (400-600)
