WAYNE BEAM MORRELL (American, 1923-) “THE POND AT DISS ABOVE YAXLEY, SUFFOLK, ENGLAND MAY-1988”. Oil on masonite summer scene shows a pond with ducks, geese and pond lilies. The far bank has houses and buildings having a grassy hillside leading to water. A pink flowering tree stands brightly amongst the grass lawn and figures are seen on the left side. Signed lower right. Housed in a gilt modern frame with linen liner. Inscribed on reverse, title and dated. SIZE: 24″ x 30″. CONDITION: Very good. 9-96432 (2,000-3,000)
