POCKET BAROMETER & MATCH SAFE. Very interesting pocket barometer has gold filled case with white dial with black numerals and markings. The front of the dial is marked “Compensated Short & Mason Ltd London.”. Included with the pocket barometer is a nickel plated match safe in the form of a pocket watch with impressed face and center ivory dial with gold painted hands. Top of the safe hinges open to access matches, bottom edge of the case is a striker. Both pieces are housed in a brown leatherette fitted case. SIZE: Both are 1-7/8″ dia. PROVENANCE: From the Estate of Geraldine Gaba, Scottsdale, AZ. CONDITION: Some wear to each case, otherwise very good. We do not know if the barometer is in working condition. 5-68365 (100-300)
