CONTEMPORARY SOMERS LEADED GLASS LAMP.

CONTEMPORARY SOMERS LEADED GLASS LAMP. Very lovely magnolia lamp features striated blue, purple and pink magnolia flowers in heavy linenfold glass giving wonderful three dimensional affect to the shade. The richly colored magnolia flowers are set against a background of subtle green and brown leaves done in richly mottled glass. The center of each flower is done in a bright yellow and green linenfold glass adding a wonderful bright contrast to otherwise subtle colors. Contemporary shade rests on an antique base with stylized acanthus leaf design impressed on the foot and stem. Base is complete with a three socket cluster and a contemporary pierced bronze heat cap. The unsigned shade was created by Somers Stained Glass. SIZE: Shade is 20″ dia. Lamp is 28″ t. CONDITION: Very good to excellent. Base has some very minor wear to finish. 5-62561 (14,000-18,000)
