EMPIRE INLAID MAHOGANY WALL CLOCK. With mansard cresting below a cast brass displayed eagle, above a beehive case with pendent bracket. The gilt metal bezel enclosing a painted wooden dial with Roman numeral chapter ring, and time only aperture above an oval pendulum door. The case string inlaid. And now fitted with a Seth Thomas brass time only movement. SIZE: 36-1/2″ h. PROVENANCE: From a fine Westerly, Rhode Island estate. CONDITION: With shrinkage cracks and small veneer losses to case.
