1799 MARKSMANSHIP MEDAL FROM THE TEMPLE BAR AND ST. PAUL’S VOLUNTEERS. The oval silver medal encased in an oval silver frame with one side engraved “A gift of Lieut. Col. Jasper Atkinson to Edward Moore from merit at prize firing 7th May 1791.” The other side engraved in a surrounding banner “Temple Bar and St. Paul’s volunteers.” The banner surrounding a wreath surrounding a large crown, below which “L L V 1799″.
