QUEEN ELIZABETH SIGNED PASSPORT DOCUMENT FOR ROBERT BERTIE DATE 1598. When folded, the document has on the back side “A license to travel for Robt. Berty Esq.” Signed with a script “R”. The paper having nineteen lines starting off with an embellished “Elizabeth”. Also having an embossed seal of the queen which is affixed to the document with a paper band. Bertie was the Queen’s grandson. SIZE: 10-1/2″ x 14-1/4″. CONDITION: With no tears. In good condition with age, toning and foxing. 9-29949 (17,500-27,500)
