TIFFANY INTAGLIO CARVED VASE. Outstanding Tiffany vase has gold favrile body and is encircled with intaglio carved leaves and vines with very nice detail. Vase is finished with gold iridescence with strong pink highlights at the neck and platinum at the foot. Signed on the underside “LC Tiffany Favrile 1972”. Also retains the original Tiffany Favrile paper label. Vase is accompanied by a period dovetailed wooden shipping box that we are told was the original shipping box for the vase. Label on the box shows it was originally shipped to Mrs. Raynor in New Jersey. From a retailer in Brooklyn, New York and is affixed with period stamps, postmarked Brooklyn. SIZE: 7″ t. Box is 15″ x 13″ x 9-1/2″ t. CONDITION: Very good to excellent with minor wear to labels on the box. 5-69518 (2,500-3,500)
