3 SMALL NICE REDWARE JUGS. 19th century, American. The first example of bulbous form with dark brown mottled glaze, applied with ribbed handle. The second of squat bulbous form with medium brown oxidized glaze. The third with dark coffee high glaze, showing oxidized shadows of floral decoration. SIZE: 1ST: 7-1/2″ h. 2ND: 5-3/4″ h. 3RD: 6-1/2″ h. CONDITION: The first with some losses to glazing at upper rim, otherwise very good. The second with minor shallow chips and glaze losses. The third with shallow base rim chip, otherwise very good. 9-99752 (400-600)
