TIFFANY STUDIOS TURTLEBACK DESK LAMP. Lamp begins with a bronze base decorated in the Zodiac pattern with a two arm support holding a double turtleback shade. The turtlebacks, when unlit are deep blue, purple and green with a platinum iridized finish. The interior is complete with two white inner liners which are there for the proper illumination when lamp is in use. These white liners direct the light downward so lamp is both, beautiful and functional. The turtlebacks are surrounded by the matching Zodiac design as on the base. The entire lamp carries a desirable patina finish. Signed on the underside “Tiffany Studios New York 541”. SIZE: 15″ t. CONDITION: Very good to excellent with one tiny open bubble to exterior of one turtleback from manufacture. Each white liner has a horizontal hairline. 5-61510 (7,500-10,000)
