FRITZ SONDERLAND (German, 1836-1896) A BIT OF MISCHIEF. Oil on canvas interior scene shows a young girl hiding behind a wall with spoon to her lips. She wears a fancy red dress and looks to her side hiding from her mother who is seated at a fancy set table but glancing out toward her daughter. Wonderful room accessories including a double candle sconce, fancy carved chair and wine cooler. Signed lower right. Housed in a modern fancy French style frame. SIZE: 26-1/4″ x 17-3/4″.
